Thousands of Spectators From Over Forty Countries and Seven Hundred Cities Demonstrate “Creating Unity through Salsa”

Los Angeles, CAAlbert Torres Productions, Inc produced the world’s largest Salsa event this past Memorial Day Weekend.  The 4th Annual West Coast Salsa Congress attracted over 10,000 adults and kids from around the world during the three-day affair. Salsa spectators and performers came from countries as far away as Antarctica to controversial countries as Israel and Syria. Dancers and spectators from over forty countries include France, United Kingdom, Italy, The Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Canada, Mexico, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, China and Australia.

 

Every year, The West Coast Salsa Congress is dedicated to “Creating Unity through Salsa.”  Presenting an annual event for people of all ages and all walks of life and cultures to come together through the common ground of Salsa. This year’s event exceeded everyone’s attendance expectations, uniting Salsa lovers through dance and music, celebrating Latin Culture with Southland locals.

 

 “This was the first entertainment event to sell-out the entire Los Angeles Airport Hilton Hotel in over two years,” said Dennis Ritz sales manager for the Hilton Hotel.  "I am delighted to see so many people travel from such far distances to attend this event here in Los Angeles.  It has always been my company’s fundamental belief to produce events that anyone can enjoy and appreciate each other no matter what outside differences may exist,” said Albert Torres.

 

 

 

Aside from over 100 professional dance performances, The 4th Annual West Coast Salsa Congress featured nightly notable performances by such Latin music legends as Oscar D’Leon Y Su Orquesta, Jose Alberto “El Canario” Y Su Orquesta, Sonora Carruseles, Ray De La Paz, Johnny Polanco Y Su Conjunto Amistad, Freddie Crespo Y Su Mambo Revue, Orquesta Son Mayor and 15-year-old timbale sensation and his young group Manolo Y Su Revolucion Juvenil.

 

 

Having garnered a reputation as one of the premier promoters of Salsa internationally, Torres continues to present in Los Angeles and around the world top Latin entertainment.
