The venue is being built during the two weeks before congress.
Here is a what to expect.
The venue is located in the Parking lot of the
Hollywood Park Casino. It is 173,000 Sq
feet of fenced venue space. That is nearly
4 football fields in size.

In the lower left is the entrance, and
registration area. In the center of the
courtyard is a large covered dance floor (2000+
sq ft). To the left are the vendor tents
anchored by the Cafe Mambo Restaurant.
In the registration area you will pick up your
Congress badges in the tents to the right. You
then enter Salsaland through a unique Saddlespan
tent on the left.

On the left Is the Dance Performance Theatre
with seating for over 2600 people. Lower
right is the 2nd food tent with a smaller
classroom next to it. There will be video
of both stages throughout the venue.

Closer to the Ballroom. We have a 6ft
stage for the DJ's (on the left), finally giving
them a place of prominence.
The dance floors come from the nations largest
Dance floor rental company. This year we
doubled the floors we had previously to 12,000
sq feet. This broke the record for the
most flooring rented at any event.
Vendor tents line the South end of the
Courtyard. Every tent is both visible and
central to the activity outside the Ballroom
tent. With food and drink, as well as
tables for eating nearby, this area will
bustling with activity.
The tents are 10ft wide by 10ft deep and include
one 8' table. There will be power
available for TV's, Laptops and Credit card
machines. No heaters or other power intensive
equipment can be powered.

This year we have increased the size of the
Theatre as well as added more Cameras and
Lights!
Backstage has grown too, with new larger
dressing rooms and green room. We will have a
Coat/Costume Check backstage so you can store
your costume while you dance. Please
no costumes left in the dressings rooms!
Be sure to get your teams photo taken at the
backstage studio after your perform! There
will be small practice dance floor backstage
identical to Main stage floor. Test your
shoes to be sure you know what to expect!
